- 2011 · 2016 · 2021
- Tokyo Metropolitan Government land-use survey building footprints and recorded above-ground storeys. Visual height is derived as storeys × 3.5 m.
- 2025 endpoint
- Project PLATEAU Minato City 2025, product specification V5. Buildings use source LOD2 geometry; the four major Toranomon Hills towers use complete available LOD3 boundary and exterior-installation geometry. Visual height follows PLATEAU measuredHeight.
- Animation
- Forms are matched using footprint overlap, centroid distance, area/shape consistency, storeys, split/merge topology, and cross-year chain consistency. For old/new records at the same site, BV_9=2 alone never admits a red/amber cue: affirmative history or combined topology and mass evidence must be inconsistent with persistence. At genuine replacement sites, materially overlapping predecessors complete a red comprehension hold and removal before successor growth begins. Missing or uncertain source representations resolve neutrally without an empty-site beat. Defensible persistent identities may reuse 2025 geometry in earlier years as a disclosed derived continuity technique—not an observation of the exact historical facade or roof.
- Constant road reference
- Official PLATEAU 2025 carriageway, sidewalk, and traffic-island surfaces remain visible from 2011 through 2025 as a derived spatial-reference backdrop. This is not evidence or a claim that the exact 2025 road geometry was observed or unchanged in 2011, 2016, or 2021.
- Constant terrain reference
- Official PLATEAU Minato City 2025 LOD1 TIN terrain is rendered at true vertical scale. Its 3.19–26.82 m source range produces 23.63 m of relief, concentrated around the Atago-yama side. The same surface remains a current spatial reference in every year; no historical terrain change is inferred.
- Miniature city
- Materials, lighting, and moving cars are editorial cues; the cars appear only with the 2025 endpoint and are not observed traffic data. No lane markings or detailed greenery are invented. Source appearance references exist, but image assets were absent, so no facade texture is claimed or fabricated.
- Daily light
- After the 2025 endpoint resolves, the fixed city passes through an illustrative compressed daily-light arc. Sun direction, shadow length, sky/hemisphere illumination, color, intensity, and exposure evolve together, then remain frozen at the late-night hold while a separate deterministic city-life clock continues traffic and aviation-light phase. This is an editorial study—not a reconstruction of a specific date, time, weather condition, or observed solar position. Human-provided night photographs calibrate relative hierarchy and luminous coverage only. Red obstruction-light placement combines observed night-reference evidence, exact source roof geometry, and a complete 60 m+ crop audit against current Tokyo Civil Aviation Bureau guidance. Medium-intensity red groups use a regulatory-range editorial blink cadence with one phase per building and deterministic offsets between buildings; implemented low-intensity red points remain steady. Exact installed lamp class, permit/exemption status, occupancy, luminance, fixture details, phase, and timing remain editorial approximations; sky, ambient, exposure, and Atago negative space are not raised.
- Central towers
- Mori and Business Towers persist into 2025. Station and Residential Tower use one completed PLATEAU geometry identity from the 2021 snapshot onward, clipped to their survey-supported 2021 heights and revealed upward during construction. This is a derived continuity visualization: the exact 2021 exterior geometry is not observed, and the animation does not claim demolition or rebuilding.
Why not 2026? No authoritative 2026 snapshot was found. “2025” is the latest available official model release label and is not presented as an exact observation date.
